I am a former technical computer systems programmer who is logical and loves to solve problems. You might be wondering how I got into working with energy. Years ago I watched my daughter’s body respond clearly and gently to muscle testing and energetic techniques during a chiropractic visit. Her system easily communicated what it needed. This was my first glimpse of the body's innate wisdom.
Inspired by that experience, I began my formal studies with Touch for Health at the U.S. Kinesiology Institute in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. There, I learned how muscle testing offers direct access to the body’s feedback system and how this information can be used to support physical, emotional, and mental balance.
I continued my education through the Professional Kinesiology Practitioner (PKP) program, where I deepened my ability to identify stress patterns, subconscious influences, and energetic imbalances that can affect overall well-being.
During this training, I was introduced to working with sound, color, and light, including the Beamer Light Pen. After discovering the Beamer Light Pen and its unique application of color and light, I pursued advanced training and certification, and became 1 of 2 licensed instructor in this modality in the United States.
In a never ending desire to solve problems and learn everything there is to know about healing, I learned Reiki and became a Reiki Master.
During the COVID period, my teachers, clients and I discovered that this work could be offered just as effectively through remote sessions. This expanded my practice and made it possible to support individuals regardless of location, while maintaining the same level of care, clarity, and effectiveness.
I am committed to ongoing learning, professional integrity, and creating a safe, supportive environment in which clients can experience greater clarity, resilience, and confidence in their own healing journey.
I see how valuable this work is and I can't imagine myself doing anything else.
